Hi, I go by Rena and this is where I translate Chinese Web Novels!
A bit about my process: I do not use MTL, I translate everything myself! I'm Taiwanese, and also lived in mainland China for 2 years, but I grew up in Canada, so I try my hardest to translate in a way that's both accurate and easy to read in English. My translations will tend to be less literal, I always try to prioritize readability and retaining the spirit and writing style of the raws. I often consult online dictionaries to help with my translations, including a Chrome extension called LiuChan Chinese Dictionary. I have a lovely editor, Lily, who is Chinese diaspora, and she checks over my drafts and sometimes helps here and there with the translations as well. Lastly, I'm not a professional translator, this is just a hobby, so mistakes/inaccuracies are probably inevitable, please bear with me!
For updates: My editor Lily and I are the only people on the 'team,' and since we are both university students who do this in our free time unfortunately sometimes real life gets in the way. I try my best to stick to a weekly release schedule, but sometimes I do have to miss an update due to school, especially if the chapter is over 5k :( We will always try to update ASAP, and nothing is dropped unless I say so! There will be updates for the status of each chapter in my twitter bio if you're interested in my translation progress.
Although I don't take translation requests, I'm definitely open to suggestions, so feel free to leave a comment suggesting a (Chinese) novel for me to pick up, and I might look into it!

RE: Re-Translations
You're welcome to re-translate any novel into another language using my translations if you just credit me! It'd be nice if you reach out to let me know about it too so I can link it on my page :)
